FROM RECYCLING MATERIALS TO GEO TEXTILES
Economically recyclable materials (preferably PET) are used today for geo textiles. Before use, these materials will be cleaned, shredded and pre-dried, filtered and then the remaining water released. The recycled material is then heated in the extruder, de-gassed and filtered before being sent to the spinning pump. In the spinning manifold, the melted material is then guided over a drum whose profile can be modified to meet the needs of the final product.
The heated fibre thread will be cooled on this drum. The thread is then spooled with or without fleece or fibrous webs.
The line is fully automated. As the product bobbin is being exchanged, the pad will move to a thread storage unit or the product can be collected by means of an automated turret spooler.
A control system will operate the line in fully automated mode. A product data registration system will record all process parameters. The system uses a Siemens S7 control system.
