Rheological, fluidic and heat transport calculations

Besides many usual calculations in classical detail engineering, the most important processes in thread formation can be calculated and simulated.  Heat- and substance transport, theology with many effects, pressure loss, flow uniformity and avoidance of dead spots are decisive elements for calculation.

For cooling down and solidifying of fibers we individually calculate, design and construct quench and climate chambers according to the requirements of your plant.

We provide the following versions such as:

  • Quench chambers for 1, 2 or 4 threads respectively strung together without gap in between
  • Climate chamber for a fibre thread, lukewarm with inflow of conditioned air or sealing gas

MainTech Systems calculates and constructs according to your requirements and needs: individual spinning  nozzles and spinning nozzle packages for any temperature level. The design of the nozzles is done according to all rheological necessary data in theory and experimentally.

Version already designed are as follows:

  • Hollow thread nozzles
  • Spinning packages for polyamide, polyester and polypropylene
  • Slot dies
  • Cap dies

Melt pipes from the extruder to nozzles are individually calculated, designed and constructed according to the requirements of your plant.
